I am examining the contrast between the visible, the ephemeral, the auditory—and the temporal marks of identity. Motivated by the duality of attraction/repulsion I use scent on my body as the platform for molecular experimentation, quasi-anthropological study, and sculptural performance, contingent on interaction, and resulting in visceral, non-representational self-portraiture.
